Jeanne Gubert is the daugher and granddaughter of seamstresses and, as such, grew up surrounded by textiles and linens mixed with bundles of creativity. As a freelancer, she started her first atelier at home making clothes for her friends. After studying Fashion at college, she created small collections for Salvador labels. She was then invited to work in associations and community projects like Estação Mussurunga, Cidadania e Paz and Pracatum where she created clothes together with local youngsters and teenagers.

She creates clothes and accessories which transcend the seasons, inventing and creating the feminine and imaginary. She is dedicated to researching techniques which suit her own talent, mixing tradicional folkore and contemporary design. In her own unique way, her collections are created based on a single inspiration, a book, a film, a journey etc. In this way her dresses resemble works of art, all of them with a special feature, a piece of handmade embroidery, a ribbon, a print, etc. It is these special features which are her label.
