In the neighbourhood of Rio Vermelho on the seafront, close to the house of Yemanja is a beautiful pink house from 1914, decorated by hand. This is where Jeanne Gubert has been receiving her clients for the past year, clients who come not just in search of exclusive dresses, but also the whole line of clothing from underwear and accessories to items of decoration. On Jeanne's table you can find designs, ribbons, scissors and fabrics still waiting to become the first of a kind, before her seamstresses turn her ideas into reality.
